Best time to visit & weather in Ulcinj

Ulcinj has the longest swimming season on the Adriatic — late May to mid-October. Peak summer (July–August) sees ~30°C air and 26°C sea, with the liveliest beach scene. Shoulder season (June, September) offers warm sea, fewer crowds and roughly 15–25% lower hotel rates. Velika Plaža is also a year-round destination for kite-surfers thanks to consistent thermal winds. Late spring brings wildflowers in the Salt Pans bird reserve.
